Tahiya has a history in modern dance, and has studied with Ansuya since 1999. She became a member of Yaleil in the spring of 2001, and gave her debut performance at Cairo Carnivale only a few months later, followed by a very successful series of shows, including "Gypsy Sugar" in Ojai, "Gypsy Sugar" in L.A., Alexandra King's "Moon Over Morocco."

Tahiya is now an integral part of Yaleil, lending her years of training and experience to the troupe, while blending her unique and colorful style so perfectly into the dances!
