How was this for me? ...
I feel I need to have the material memorized better. I often paused to find my thought/ line.
I want to be better prepared by studying the time period, the story, hunting for treasures, and definitely grasping my "moment before". I need more context so that I can find pivotal emotional shifts during the monologue. I imagine having all this would allow me to fall into the flow of the moments so much more easily as I would understand my circumstances and motivations for each line.
I want to read the book and the screenplay. Saw the movie way back when it came out. Did not rewatch it.
So why didn't I do all this? I had to miss last week's class due to family visitors. They are still here. So, I decided to jump aside and record this even though I risk potentially having to unlearn some choices once I am able to delve into the work. Didn't want to wait to get at least some work going.
