Here is what makes the "Sacred Sinuosity" Yoga-Bellydance Fusion practice unique:
It all starts with "Kundalini"!
“Kundalini” is considered a potential force of awakening consciousness, symbolized by a sleeping snake at the base of the spine. Bellydance, with its rich range of sinuous spinal movement, is an enchanting way to work with this compelling theme.
Yoga is also an exquisite way to access and work with the Chakras (seven major energy centers of the body) in order to process emotions, balance the nervous system, and rejuvenate the entire physical, emotional, and spiritual body.
Yoga and Bellydance work as an ideal fusion as Bellydance takes the ignited energetic connections created in Yoga poses and adds a vortex of healing and empowering energy by layering on specialized movements!
The postures and movements nurture the Hasta (Hand), Pada (Foot), Mula (Pelvis), Uddiyana (Core), and Jalandhara (Throat) Bandhas, while moving energy through and around all of our Nadis (energy meridians), bringing Prana (life force) to every cell of the body, while adding a next level experience of sensual female power and dance creativity!

This warm up is designed to loosen up ribcage, shoulders, thoracic and cervical vertebra, in order to grant you a deeper and more blissful relationship to breath and access to further flexibility and range of motion (and -E-motion) as you enjoy the upper body movements of Bellydance, including Chest Slides, Ribcage Circles, Upper Body Undulations, Upper Body Figure Eights, Snakes, Wrist Turns, and Hand Waves. This work draws elements from my BBM Bellydance Body Mechanics and Seven Chakras Bellydance Series programs. Some students opt to take the full length version of this section in order to graduate with the "Bellydance Body Mechanics" and "Seven Chakras Bellydance" certifications as well!
Content continues with a Sacral (Svadhisthana) and Root (Muladhara) Chakra warm up, designed to loosen up psoas, hip flexors, tensor fascia latte, obliques, lower back muscles, and lumbar spine, in order to increase your range and flow as you work your way into the lower body movements of Bellydance including Hip Slides, Hip Circles, Lower Body Figure Eights, and Lower Body Undulations.
Then, all of the upper and lower body movements are brought together to create an intuition illuminating improvisational flow!
This flow is designed to help you fully actualize a snake like awakening of your own powerful creativity, in order to develop a relationship with self on ever deepening and fulfilling levels!

This work draws elements from my BFF Bellydance Fitness Fusion program. Students will savor the opportunity to make “best friends forever” with their bodies in full self acceptance and body positive celebration as they unleash in an upbeat improvisation to culminate this exciting section of class!
Some students opt to take the full length version of this section in order to graduate with a "Bellydance Fitness Fusion" certification as well!
This work draws elements from my BFF Bellydance Fitness Fusion program. Students will savor the opportunity to make “best friends forever” with their bodies in full self acceptance and body positive celebration as they unleash in an upbeat improvisation to culminate this exciting section of class!

Next we delve into our Hatha Yoga poses which will be moved through at a slow pace to give time to build strength and balance within poses and during transitions between poses. Winding down we return to blissful breath and will conclude in restful:

- Dragonfly (Upavistha Konasana)
- Square (Agnistambhasana)
- Shoelace (Gomukhasana Variation)
